1st National Native American Fatherhood Conference

11/13/06 to 11/15/06
Mesa, Arizona

The Native American Fatherhood & Family Association (NAFFA) cordially invites you to participate in the 1st National Native American Fatherhood Conference on November 13-15, 2006.

We are excited, as distinguished leaders from across the United States will meet at the Mesa, Arizona Conference Center. Fathers, and those with an interest or role in raising Native American children, will join with policy makers, educators, social workers, and the criminal justice community to address the unique concerns of Native American fathers.

The 1st National Native American Fatherhood Conference’s theme is entitled “Weaving Fatherhood into Criminal Justice, Education, and Human Services”.  We will focus on how Native American fathers are served, treated and impacted by these systems. In addition, the conference will address how men and families benefit from fatherhood programs and foster positive changes within their community.
